Writing an employment NOC that embassies trust
What your employer's letter must include, and the details that make officers doubt it.
5 min read · Updated 28 Sep 2026What to include
The letter should be on company letterhead, signed and stamped by HR or a manager, with contact details that can be verified.
- Your designation, joining date and salary
- Approved leave dates matching your itinerary
- A clear statement that you will return to your job
- Company phone number and email
Red flags
Generic templates, missing contact details, salary that doesn't match your bank credits, or leave dates that don't match your hotel and flight reservations.
General guidance only. Embassy rules change often, so always confirm with the official mission before you apply.
